Prior to your first workout, our instructors will thoroughly discuss any movement limitations or health concerns you may have. We then use a two-fold training approach consisting of 1) Educating you about good bio-mechanical function to ensure that your body is supported both during workouts and in daily life; and 2) Developing an individual exercise plan at a pace and level that is as gentle or as challenging as is appropriate for your physical condition and long-term health objectives. Therapeutic training can be especially helpful as an adjunct to physical therapy – enabling you to maintain and build on physical therapy progress once coverage has concluded.
At The Fifth Line we are passionate about healthy aging. To us that means, ensuring that your body has the strength and energy required to maintain a healthy, active and fulfilled life. Our instructors will focus on training you through fluid movement that develops strength, maintains flexibility and sustains range of motion – all of which are critical for maintaining balance and everyday functioning as we age. We understand that aging at 40 is different from aging at 50 and aging at 60 and aging at 70. We meet you where you are – developing a plan and designing a system of exercises that optimizes whole mind & body health.
